It’s a funny thing about nature. We talk about reconnecting with it like we are not part of it and it is not part of us.
The truth is, we ARE nature. It’s just that many of us have forgotten this and see it as something separate from ourselves.
Some work tirelessly trying to help nature. Others seem hell-bent on destroying it. Few take the time to really watch and listen and discover nature’s hidden treasures and lessons.
Some of those who do listen and observe share the lessons through wonderful, wise words.
I’ve paired some of those words with some homegrown pictures, hoping to share the wisdom so we may inspire nature the way nature inspires us.
INSPIRATIONAL LIFE LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE
Like a caring and nurturing mother, nature shows us every day how to live life to the fullest. When we are open to those lessons, our lives are transformed. We learn to see the bigger picture and throw off the very human emotions of stress, loneliness and depression.
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED
One of the most important and consistent lessons natures teaches is how very connected everything is.
That means that every action we take will create a ripple effect impact on everything else – whether we see it or not.
We all have a vital role to play.
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – BEAUTY IS EVERYWHERE
Just as a loving mother provides her children with all they need and tries to make their world comfortable and beautiful, nature selflessly shares her bounty and surrounds us with beauty.
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – MAGIC HAPPENS
Nature teaches us that yes, magic happens
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – LIFE IS NOT A RACE
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – STRENGTH, PERSEVERANCE AND CHANGE
Rivers are amazing teachers. They show us how to embrace change.
Also, how to pace ourselves.
And how to persevere.
LESSONS FROM MOTHER NATURE – WHAT TREES TEACH US
It’s no secret how much I love the magic of trees. They teach us stillness, how to bend with the wind, patience and strength.
When we are open to the lessons, Mother Nature can teach us everything we really need to know.
Spend some time this year seeking nature’s hidden treasures and listening to her messages and lessons. It will transform your life.
Here is some more nature inspiration.
Have a gleeful week, Tamuria

January 6, 2018 at 11:07 pmBeautiful photos and wonderful quotes. I am an outdoor lover. I’ve learned so many things out hiking or walking or just visiting a park. I just love that you really have to just stop for a moment, drink it all in and just be. Nature fills my soul.

January 7, 2018 at 7:32 pmIt’s marvellous to hear that nature fills your soul too. There are so many lessons we can learn if we take the time and pay attention. And the tranquillity – that wonderful space where you drink it all in and just be – magical.

January 8, 2018 at 1:02 pmWhat an incredible collection of beautiful images from nature and inspiring quotes. I’m always grateful that I had a 5th-grade teacher who would take us out of the classroom and show us all the different trees. Having children exposed to the beauties of nature is so critical in today’s world of electronics. Thank you, Tami, for taking the time to put together such a wonderful collection.

January 10, 2018 at 3:18 pmI have never thought of nature showing me how to live life to the fullest. What I know is that I have always loved all things outdoors and that is my main motivation for keeping fit–I want to hike, ski, play tennis, take long walks, swim when I am well into my senior years.

January 10, 2018 at 4:36 pmTamuria, Wow 😮. Just wow. These pictures and quotes are absolutely beautiful and perfect! I love nature and believe we are all connected. When I was diagnosed with cancer the first time, I intuitively went outside and hugged my biggest tree and visualized healing from Mother Earth.
If we ALL took the time to BE and enjoy each moment, like the butterfly, the world would be a better place. Thank you for your inspiration.
